A wooden house from the seventies with a dreary garden is transformed and extended. The main
materials are walls of spruce stained matt black (both inside and outside), roof of fibre cement boards and oak floors.

An experimental building system of massive wood cavity walls (almost like masonry) is the driving force behind this design. A 9m long window opens the house towards the Gandsfjorden 50m away. With this view there is no need for other decoration.
