A wooden house from the seventies with a dreary garden is transformed and extended. The main
materials are walls of spruce stained matt black (both inside and outside), roof of fibre cement boards and oak floors.

The program was divided in three houses: bath house, dormitory and living room. All the circulation is outdoors celebrating the Nordic summer. The construction is very primitive without insulation, and the only heating is a stove. The foundations and constructional system were developed so they could react on local circumstances like roots or loose slate.
