A wooden house from the seventies with a dreary garden is transformed and extended. The main
materials are walls of spruce stained matt black (both inside and outside), roof of fibre cement boards and oak floors.

The walls are of massiv wood construction, working as girders spanning the large opening of the ground floor. By making the windows circular the openings in the walls could be larger. The outside of the building is like armour, since the site is very exposed to harsh weather
