A wooden house from the seventies with a dreary garden is transformed and extended. The main
materials are walls of spruce stained matt black (both inside and outside), roof of fibre cement boards and oak floors.

A small study simultaneously solving multiple storage purposes. The main construction of the annex is also its storage system. The external paneling is spruce treated with iron vitriol.
In 2004 the office was awarded the Norwegian Timber Prize, this house was one of three especially mentioned.
